Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Operator to join our team in Sheridan, AR. This exciting opportunity is with a leading building envelope system manufacturer who values inclusivity, supports employee growth, and promotes teamwork.
About the Role
- Operate overhead cranes and other manufacturing tools to ensure efficient production.
- Perform quality checks and document results to maintain high-quality standards.
- Conduct minor preventative maintenance to prevent equipment downtime.
- Detect machine malfunctions and workpiece defects to identify areas for improvement.
- Measure workpiece dimensions to ensure accuracy and precision.
- Read and understand engineering drawings and blueprints to complete tasks effectively.
- Collaborate within the team and assist with other department duties as needed.
- Lift up to 60lbs and operate various tools, including grinders, banding equipment, nail guns, torches, and hand tools.
Requirements
- Dependable team player with excellent communication skills.
- Experience with measuring devices (tape measures, micrometers, squares, etc.).
- Ability to read job specifications and adjust machines accordingly.
- Experience with overhead crane operation is preferred.
- Willingness to work overtime, including nights and weekends when needed.
