Accounts Receivable Specialist- Direct Hire

Education Requirements

- Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, or a related field preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Previous Accounts Receivable, Accounting Clerk, Bookkeeping, or Finance experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and accounting software.
- Strong data entry, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle confidential financial information with professionalism and accuracy.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to sit and work at a computer for extended periods.
- Ability to review detailed financial records with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.
Job Duties
- Post and apply customer payments accurately and timely.
- Research and resolve payment discrepancies, deductions, and account issues.
- Assist customers with billing inquiries, payment disputes, and account questions.
- Maintain accurate customer account records and process necessary adjustments.
- Review new customer accounts and assist with credit evaluations.
- Collaborate with internal departments to support accurate financial reporting and account reconciliation.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting procedures.
