What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Case Pick Forklift Operator position at Staffmark Group?
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- 6 months of sit-down forklift and/or EPJ experience
- Able to lift up to 30 lbs. and work on your feet throughout the shift
- Case pick utilizing a scanner, frequently getting off the equipment.
- Load, unload, move, stock, and stage products and materials using various types of forklifts or other power equipment 80% of the specified shift.
- Pull and prepare product for shipment, ensuring the exact number and types of product are loaded.
- Keep appropriate records and reports for inventory accuracy.
- Comply with all OSHA and SDS standards.
- Verify load accuracy; check the load count, stability, and product damage, and report variances as necessary.
- Change the equipment battery or LP tank and monitor the power source as necessary.
- Maintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.
- Assist in physical inventories.
- Complete daily inspection of equipment.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
