Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, or logistics training is beneficial.
- 1 year of recent sit-down forklift experience required
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes preferred
- Experience using FedEx Ship Manager and UPS WorldShip is a plus
- Basic computer skills required
- Process outbound shipments using FedEx and UPS shipping systems
- Create shipping labels, packing slips, and shipping documentation
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Enter inventory information into warehouse systems
- Maintain shipping and receiving records and documentation
- Track shipments and assist with resolving delivery issues
- Organize incoming materials and stage products for storage or distribution
- Perform inventory counts and assist with inventory accuracy
- Operate a sit-down forklift, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience using warehouse management systems (WMS), barcode scanners, or inventory software is preferred.
- Forklift certification or experience operating material handling equipment is beneficial.
- Experience with inventory control, cycle counting, or order fulfillment is considered an asset.
- Individuals who demonstrate dependability, teamwork, and a strong work ethic are well positioned for success as a Shipping and Receiving Forklift Operator.
Physical Capabilities
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and lift throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and move materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to safely load, unload, and organize products in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to work in varying warehouse temperatures and production conditions as required.
