Here's what we're looking for.
- Bilingual in Spanish
- OSHA 30-hour general industry completion certificate (within the last three years)
- Accredited certificate from the Council on Certification of Health, Safety and Environmental Professionals, Occupational Safety and Health Technician, Certified Health and Safety Officer, or equivalent
- Working knowledge of online consortiums such as ISNetworld, DISA, Veriforce, and National Compliance Management Services
- Ability to obtain certification to train in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation and First Aid
- ISN and Veriforce experience
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable transportation
Responsibilities:
The Safety Manager will play a vital role in supporting the development of Occupational Health and Safety policies and programs while advising and instructing on various safety-related topics such as noise levels and the use of machinery. Daily duties will include conducting risk assessments, enforcing preventative measures, facilitating new hire orientations, conducting safety observations and audits, and providing training for individual Occupational Safety and Health Administration-required training.
