- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and welding specifications.
- Welding certification is a plus but not required.
- Must provide personal welding helmet and basic hand tools.
- Proven experience performing MIG and TIG welding in a manufacturing, fabrication, or production environment.
- Strong proficiency welding stainless steel using TIG and MIG processes and carbon steel using MIG welding.
- Ability to independently set up welding equipment, select appropriate materials, and adjust machine settings.
- Experience welding a variety of material thicknesses, from 20-gauge sheet metal to thick-wall tubing.
- Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality, safety, and productivity standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Frequently perform bending, reaching, and repetitive motions while welding and fabricating components.
- Ability to safely lift and move materials weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment while using required personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Ability to safely operate welding, grinding, and fabrication equipment.
- Perform high-quality MIG and TIG welding on stainless steel and carbon steel components according to engineering drawings and production specifications.
- Set up, operate, and maintain welding equipment to support efficient manufacturing operations.
- Inspect completed welds to verify strength, appearance, dimensional accuracy, and compliance with quality standards.
- Grind, clean, and finish welds to meet product and customer requirements.
- Read and interpret blueprints, weld symbols, and work instructions to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Work closely with production and quality teams to meet production schedules, customer deadlines, and quality expectations.
- Follow all company safety policies, welding procedures, and manufacturing standards while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
