Requirements
- Minimum of 6 months of mail handling, postal, or related experience
- Knowledge of postal regulations preferred
- Strong math and basic computer skills
- Experience operating and troubleshooting mailing or inserter equipment
- Ability to accurately follow written instructions and job specifications
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Good vision, hearing, and manual dexterity
- Willingness to work overtime as needed
Job Duties
- Set up and operate mailing inserter equipment according to job specifications and postal regulations
- Schedule and coordinate inserting, metering, and mail-sorting activities to meet production deadlines
- Monitor production to ensure quality, accuracy, and efficiency
- Perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on mailing equipment
- Collaborate with team members to maintain workflow and production goals
- Follow all company safety procedures and quality standards
- Maintain accurate production records and documentation
- Stand, walk, reach, and perform machine operation tasks throughout the shift
