Requirements
- 6 months of experience
- Able to lift 40 lbs.
- Previous commercial cleaning experience preferred
- Knowledge of cleaning products and safe chemical handling
- Ability to work independently and maintain confidentiality
- Respectful attitude toward religious practices and sacred spaces
- Flexible schedule, including evenings or weekends as needed
Job Duties
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, kitchens, classrooms, offices, and common areas
- Vacuum, sweep, mop, and polish floors (including care of hardwood or sanctuary flooring)
- Dust and wipe pews, chairs, altars, windowsills, and other surfaces
- Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners
- Set up and break down rooms for services, weddings, funerals, and events
- Refill supplies such as soap, paper towels, and toilet paper
- Report maintenance or safety issues to church management
