Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous warehouse training or powered industrial truck training is beneficial.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a forklift safely to move and transport materials throughout the facility.
- Load and unload trucks, pallets, and incoming shipments.
- Deliver raw materials and packaging supplies to production and compounding departments.
- Move finished products to designated storage and shipping areas.
- Verify material labels, quantities, and locations.
- Assist with inventory control and warehouse organization.
- Follow safety procedures, company policies, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Maintain accurate material movement records and complete required paperwork.
- Keep warehouse and production areas clean and organized.
- Communicate with warehouse, production, and shipping teams to ensure materials are available when needed.
Qualifications
- Previous forklift operating experience required or preferred, depending on the position.
- Valid forklift certification, if required by the employer.
- Experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read labels, verify quantities, and complete basic documentation.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to lift materials and stand or walk for extended periods as required.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
