Requirements
- Previous experience operating both sit-down and stand-up forklifts required.
- Forklift certification preferred (or ability to become certified).
- Experience using RF scanners is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand, bend, and walk for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexible to work overtime and weekends as needed.
Preferred Skills:
- Shipping and receiving experience.
- Order picking and palletizing.
- Inventory and warehouse organization.
- Basic computer and warehouse management system (WMS) knowledge.
Physical Capabilities
- Warehouse or distribution center environment.
- Frequent exposure to moving equipment and varying temperatures.
- Requires standing, walking, lifting, and operating material handling equipment throughout the shift.
Job Duties:
- Operate sit-down and stand-up forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Load and unload incoming and outgoing shipments.
- Move raw materials, finished goods, and products throughout the warehouse.
- Pick, stage, and prepare orders for shipping.
- Perform put-away of inventory into designated storage locations.
- Utilize RF scanners and warehouse management systems to track inventory.
- Conduct daily forklift inspections and report maintenance issues.
- Ensure inventory is handled carefully to prevent damage.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Follow all OSHA and company safety policies and procedures.
- Assist with cycle counts and inventory control as needed.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
