Staffmark is hiring an Electro-Mechanical Technician in Jonesboro, AR! This is a great opportunity to join a trusted manufacturing team and put your technical skills to work in a dynamic environment.
Pay: $28 /hour (Based on experience)
Schedule: 2nd Shift | Monday-Thursday | 3:30 PM - 2:00 AM (4 ten-hour days)
In this role, you'll be responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining production and facility equipment. You'll play a key part in keeping operations running smoothly and safely through preventive and emergency maintenance tasks.
Responsibilities:
- Install and maintain production machinery and facility equipment
- Troubleshoot and perform emergency and scheduled maintenance repairs
- Diagnose issues, repair or replace parts, and test equipment
- Conduct preventive maintenance and basic plumbing/carpentry work
- Interpret manuals, work orders, and use a range of tools and meters
- Maintain a safe and organized work area
- Report defective materials or faulty operations to supervision
- Perform other duties as needed
Requirements:
- Must pass in-house electro-mechanical test
- 4 years of experience in manufacturing maintenance
- Strong skills in hydraulics, pneumatics, mechanical systems; some PLC experience
- High school diploma or GED required
- Completion of a craft apprenticeship or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
