Requirements
- Experience operating CNC routers in woodworking, cabinetmaking, millwork, signage, fabrication, or manufacturing environments
- Experience operating laser cutting and/or engraving equipment
- Working knowledge of CAD/CAM software, toolpaths, nesting, feeds and speeds, and machine setup
- Ability to read shop drawings, blueprints, and production instructions
- Strong troubleshooting and quality inspection skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
Job Duties
- Operate CNC routers and laser cutting/engraving equipment safely and efficiently
- Set up materials, tooling, fixtures, machine parameters, and production files
- Prepare, modify, and verify CAD/CAM files and toolpaths
- Inspect first articles and finished products to ensure quality and accuracy
- Troubleshoot machine, tooling, material, and programming issues to minimize scrap and downtime
- Maintain organized job files, setup documentation, and production records
- Perform basic machine maintenance, calibration checks, and safety inspections
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety and quality standards
- Support production schedules through teamwork, quality control, and continuous improvement
