This Role's a Match If You:
- Hold a high school diploma or GED.
- Previous operational experience in the air freight industry required, including experience with:
- Warehousing
- Airlines
- Ground Handling Agents (GHA)
- Freight Forwarding
- Air Export Gateway Operations
- Strong knowledge of air export procedures and documentation.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, comprehend, and collaborate effectively.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet demanding deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel and Word, as well as email and internet-based systems.
- Good knowledge of international geography, including countries and major cities.
- Knowledge of Pharma, Aerospace, Automotive, Semiconductor (Semicon), and other specialized logistics sectors is a plus.
- Basic GxP awareness and understanding of applicable guidelines such as WHO GDP, EU GDP, and related quality standards.
In This Role You Will:
- Process Master Air Waybill (MAWB) consolidations for assigned trade lanes.
- Manage all aspects of the Air Transport Association (ATA) export process.
- Prepare, handle, and process all documentation required for air export consolidations.
- Collaborate closely with regional air export departments to ensure smooth operations.
- Arrange carrier bookings and optimize cargo consolidation opportunities.
- Coordinate timely shipment processing and delivery to airports.
- Maintain continuous communication with warehouse teams and truck dispatch throughout the consolidation process.
- Track and trace shipments to ensure timely movement and delivery.
- Monitor vendor performance and resolve service issues or irregularities.
- Update, maintain, and monitor operational reporting tools on a daily basis.
- Support the pricing team by providing rate quote assistance.
- Adhere to healthcare logistics guidelines and Global Quality Health Chain requirements.
- Coordinate and support quality initiatives related to SecureChain and Semiconductor (Semicon) products.
