- Plus Overtime
Pay Rate:
- $18 / hour
Job Summary:
We’re seeking an experienced, bilingual PIT Operator to safely transport materials throughout the warehouse using powered industrial trucks. This role requires strong attention to detail, forklift certification, and the ability to manage inventory efficiently while supporting production and shipping operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Identify, verify, and transport materials to and from machines, loading docks, trucks, and storage areas
- Retrieve production schedules or shipping orders and fulfill orders accurately
- Understand loading schedules and machine capacity to deliver materials efficiently
- Secure materials and wrap pallets for safe transport
- Report any material issues, loss, or equipment malfunctions to supervisors
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment in compliance with safety guidelines
- Assist with basic service of equipment and report maintenance issues
- Maintain accurate inventory records and update activity logs
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support warehouse operations.
Job Requirements:
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Forklift certified with at least 3 years of relevant experience
- Capable of lifting up to 40 lbs and operating warehouse vehicles and equipment safely
- Proficient with handheld scanners and general computer use
- Strong multitasking skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently or as part of a team
