Staff Management Group is seeking a Material Handler for our client in Hightstown, NJ. Please read the ENTIRE job description and ALL of the job requirements BEFORE applying for this position.
Schedule
- 1st shift: 7AM - 3:30PM or
- 2nd shift: 4PM – 12AM
- Monday - Friday
- Plus overtime
Pay Rate
- $17.50 / hour
Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for handling, moving, and storing various non-hazardous materials within the warehouse. This role supports receiving operations by ensuring materials are properly unloaded, organized, and stored to maintain an efficient and safe warehouse environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, safety-conscious, and experienced in warehouse operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Receive and unload incoming shipments of non-hazardous materials
- Move materials to designated storage areas within the warehouse
- Organize and store materials according to company procedures
- Assist with verifying shipments against receiving documents
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all company safety policies and warehouse procedures
- Support general warehouse operations and perform other duties as assigned
Job Requirements
- MUST be bilingual - English AND Spanish
- Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience
- Ability to lift, move, and handle warehouse materials safely
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
