Physician Assistant- Emergency Medicine
Department: Emergency Department
Location: Holdrege NE 68949
Other important details:
Shift: Night Shift 6p-6a, 60 hours every 2 weeks.
Contract Duration: Open to a 3-6 month contract
Relocation Assistance/Sign-on Bonus available
Job Summary
The Physician’s Assistant is responsible for providing medical and/or emergency services including assessing and managing patients in the emergency department, hospital, outpatient, and clinic settings following established standards and best practices.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant Studies from an accredited university.
COMPETENCIES/CERTIFICATIONS REQUIRED
- Currently certified as Physician Assistants to assist primary care physicians.
- Current Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) certification.
- Current BLS certification.
- Current ACLS certification.
- Current PALS certification
- Current NRP certification
- Current ATLS certification
