Job Title: Entry-Level Lab Technician
Location: Shreveport, LA
Duration: 1-2 months
Pay Rate: $21.75/hr
Shift: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine laboratory testing and sample analysis.
- Complete assigned tasks accurately and on time.
- Record and maintain test results and documentation.
- Follow laboratory procedures, safety standards, and company policies.
- Communicate effectively with laboratory and plant personnel.
- Support quality assurance activities to ensure product quality.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
- Basic math and analytical skills.
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
- Self-motivated and detail-oriented.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear steel-toed shoes.
Preferred:
- Laboratory or Quality Assurance experience.
- Experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
Additional Notes:
- On-site tour/interview required.
- Entry-level position with training provided.
