Job Title: SDET Analyst III
Type: W2 Contract
Length: 12 Months
Location: Chattanooga, TN (100% Remote)
Hours: 8 AM – 5 PM EST
Pay Rate: $59/hr
Overview
The SDET Analyst III ensures high-quality software delivery by embedding quality practices throughout the development lifecycle. This role designs, builds, and maintains automation frameworks and automated test suites for web, mobile, and API services. The analyst will leverage tools such as Selenium, Selenide, and Appium to support continuous testing, integration, delivery, and deployment. Responsibilities include functional automation, regression testing, performance testing, load testing, and security testing.
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 3 years of coding experience with Java and strong SQL knowledge.
- Hands-on automation experience with Selenium, Selenide, and Appium (mobile test automation).
- Proven ability to build and maintain automation frameworks and scalable automated test suites.
- Experience automating web, mobile, and API test cases.
- Experience working closely with Product, Development, IT, and Ops teams to improve processes and testing efficiency.
- Strong communication skills and excellent documentation abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively within cross-functional teams.
- Strong ownership mindset and willingness to “roll up your sleeves.”
Preferred Skills
- Experience automating tests for microservices.
- Cloud experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub, IntelliJ, Docker, and Maven.
- Experience with Jira and TestRail integration.
