The Role
As our Quality Assurance Manager, you will oversee the Quality Department and champion the programs that ensure our products meet the highest standards. You will be responsible for:
- Ensuring Excellence: Oversee all aspects of handling, packaging, and shipping to ensure every product meets cGMP requirements.
- Operational Oversight: Manage the sites quality personnel, establishing goals, priorities, and training schedules.
- Strategic Systems: Lead audits, investigations, CAPAs, and change control programs with an innovative, best-practice approach.
- Collaboration: Act as a key partner to Supply Chain, Production, and Logistics to support seamless operations.
- Product Integrity: Hold final authority over the disposition of in-process materials and the release of finished goods.
What You Bring
- Expertise: A Bachelors Degree (or 5 years equivalent experience) and at least 5 years of quality management experience.
- Regulatory Knowledge: High proficiency in FDA regulations, cGMP, and safety standards.
- Technical Savvy: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel (including formulas), Word, and Outlook.
- Preferred Credentials: ASQ or other professional Quality certifications.
- Soft Skills: A passion for developing others, a knack for creative problem-solving, and the ability to build trusting alliances across the organization.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to walk and stand for extended periods during site oversight.
- Ability to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.
