Overview
We are seeking reliable and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our per diem staffing pool in the Loogootee area. This role supports facility-based care with flexible scheduling and the opportunity to pick up consistent day shifts as needed.
CNAs in this role will provide high-quality direct patient care while supporting nursing staff in delivering safe, dignified, and person-centered care.
Schedule
- Per diem / as-needed shifts
- Day shift: 5:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- Weekend availability highly preferred
- Flexibility to pick up additional shifts encouraged
Compensation
- $18 – $21 per hour, based on experience
- Weekend shift differentials available
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Assist residents/patients with activities of daily living (ADLs)
- Take and record vital signs accurately
- Support nursing staff with routine clinical tasks
- Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful patient environment
- Observe and report changes in patient condition promptly
- Follow all facility policies, infection control, and safety procedures
Requirements
- Active Indiana CNA certification (required)
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Ability to work 12-hour shifts (5a–5p)
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable transportation to assigned facilities
- Previous long-term care or acute care experience preferred but not required
