Relief Bank Teller - Weekly Pay + Other Benefits!

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Relief Bank Teller

Location: Makawao, HI

Pay: $23 to $27/hour $3.00/hr Relief Premium & Sales Incentives!

Experience: 2 years of cash handling experience; 2 years of customer service, referrals, and sales experience

Education: Associate’s degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience; OR high school diploma with 2 years of experience in a sales and service environment

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM, plus rotational Saturdays, 8:30 AM – 1:30 PM

Job Description

• Provide relief teller coverage across multiple Maui branch locations based on business needs
• Process customer financial transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, and payments
• Handle cash responsibly and balance your cash drawer according to established procedures
• Greet customers with a welcoming, engaging presence and deliver an excellent service experience
• Identify customer needs and refer or sell appropriate bank products and services
• Help customers use digital banking tools and technology
• Maintain accurate records and transaction documentation
• Handle confidential customer information with discretion and professionalism
• Adapt quickly to different branch teams, procedures, and a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
• Work independently and as part of a larger team to support branch operations
  
  

Position Requirements

• Valid State of Hawaii Driver’s License and reliable transportation
• Willing and able to travel to various branch locations (Mileage will be reimbursed)
• Digitally savvy and confident using digital banking technology
• Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent follow-through
• Ability to handle confidential matters judiciously
• Upbeat, positive, growth-minded, and flexible
