$18.50/hour | Short-Term Election Clerk | Weekly Pay!

This is not a remote role. Applicants must be able to report to work on time as scheduled.

Position: Election Clerk

Location: Honolulu, HI

Pay: This position has a fixed pay rate of $18.50/hour

Experience: At least 6 months of customer service experience is required. Training on specific tasks will be provided.

Education: High school diploma or GED.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Day Shift, 7:45am to 4:30pm (Start date: July 24th)

Staffing Solutions of Hawaii is seeking an Election Clerk to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description

• Answer questions related to voting, both in person and over the phone.
• Gather voter registration applications from various public and private agencies.
• Assist with mailing out ballots and handling the return of absentee ballots.
• Handle various data entry duties.
• Assist voters with ballots and voting machines.
• Validate and audit voter applications and replacement ballot requests.
• Assist with the training and recruitment of employees.
• Other duties as assigned
  
  

Position Requirements

• Fluent in Ilocano and Chinese is a plus!
• Ability to type 35 wpm with accuracy and utilize MS Office.
• Comfortable working in warm conditions without air conditioning.
• Strong time management skills.
• Effectively work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs and stand for long periods of time.
