This is a highly stable, family-first practice with almost no turnover, and due to continued growth, they’re adding an Hearing Instrument Specialist or Audiologist to support a busy, thriving schedule.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate, motivated HIS or Audiologist to join a thriving, patient-centered private practice in Chelsea, MI.
The ideal candidate is:

- Skilled and confident in hearing aid consultations and sales
- Patient-focused, ethical, and committed to excellent outcomes

- Comfortable working with adult patients across diagnostics, treatment, and follow-up care
Both full-time and part-time schedules will be considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform adult hearing evaluations, including air/bone, speech testing, and immittance (if audiologist).
- Recommend and dispense hearing aids using best-practice fittings, counseling, and ongoing after-care.
- Manage follow-up care, including adjustments, troubleshooting, cleanings, and annual checks.
- Educate patients and families on hearing loss, technology, and realistic expectations.
- Provide custom ear protection and earplug fittings.
- Support tinnitus patients with appropriate testing and device options.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation and uphold all clinical and ethical standards.
- Contribute to the positive team environment—pitching in, supporting colleagues, and upholding “The Rankin Way.”

Qualifications:
- Active MI Hearing Aid Dealer & Fitter license (or ability to obtain)
- Strong interpersonal communication and counseling skills
- Comfort with recommending and selling hearing aids based on patient needs
- Genuine passion for improving lives through hearing care
