CAD Packaging Designer

We are seeking a CAD Packaging Designer to join our team on a direct‑hire basis in Skokie, IL. This role focuses on preparing finalized structural packaging designs for production—ensuring a smooth transition from concept through manufacturing.

What You’ll Do
- Develop and finalize structural packaging designs for production readiness
- Create CAD drawings, press layouts, die‑cutting files, and prototypes using Esko ArtiosCAD
- Support prototype and sample development using Kongsberg cutting systems
- Validate materials and confirm production feasibility
- Maintain accurate production specifications and documentation
- Collaborate with Manufacturing and Project Management teams
- Ensure designs are optimized for press, die‑cutting, assembly, and finishing
- Manage testing and sample iterations through approval
- Execute work efficiently while meeting tight production deadlines
What We’re Looking For
âś… High school diploma or equivalent (required)
âś… Coursework or concentration in CAD, Drafting, Packaging, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Technical, or Engineering disciplines (preferred)
âś… Strong attention to detail and organization
