We are seeking a CAD Packaging Designer to join our team on a direct‑hire basis in Skokie, IL. This role focuses on preparing finalized structural packaging designs for production—ensuring a smooth transition from concept through manufacturing.

What You’ll Do

• Develop and finalize structural packaging designs for production readiness
• Create CAD drawings, press layouts, die‑cutting files, and prototypes using Esko ArtiosCAD
• Support prototype and sample development using Kongsberg cutting systems
• Validate materials and confirm production feasibility
• Maintain accurate production specifications and documentation
• Collaborate with Manufacturing and Project Management teams
• Ensure designs are optimized for press, die‑cutting, assembly, and finishing
• Manage testing and sample iterations through approval
• Execute work efficiently while meeting tight production deadlines

What We’re Looking For

✅ High school diploma or equivalent (required)

✅ Coursework or concentration in CAD, Drafting, Packaging, Industrial Design, Graphic Design, Technical, or Engineering disciplines (preferred)

✅ Strong attention to detail and organization

✅ Practical problem‑solving skills

✅ Interest in structural packaging design and manufacturing processes

✅ Ability to work collaboratively in a fast‑paced production environment

Experience with ArtiosCAD or packaging CAD tools is a plus, but not required—we will train the right candidate.
