What are the responsibilities and job description for the Finance Director position at Staffing Matches?
We are looking for a Finance Director in Peoria! In this newly-created position, you'll be in charge of the accounting and finance functions for a manufacturer. This is primarily an onsite postion with flexability to work from home occassionally.
The focus of this role includes:
- Working with business leaders to stand up and redefine the infrastructure of the department
- Understand current processes and redefine as needed
- Create new business metrics and KPIs
- Work closely with 2 direct reports and business leaders to optimize and redefine the department
While you won't be doing general accounting or finance, you will be responsible for the plant controller and managers' work. Initially you'll dig into the accounting to ensure it makes sense and is done correctly.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- 8 years' of accounting experience
- Strong communication and analytical skills
