We are currently seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join a widely respected and diverse Civil/Facilities Division. With an industry leader, who fosters a people-centric culture, values innovation, and encourages collaboration.
What you would be doing: (Responsibilities)
- Develop and prepare structural design calculations and construction plans for new and renovation projects in public and private buildings and parking garages across the East Coast.
- Lead parking garage projects and interface with the owner, architect, and entire design team.
- Conduct field work. Some travel required.
Who you are: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's in Civil/Structural Engineering (MS preferred)
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure required
- Minimum of 15 years of building structural experience
- Successful project management experience
- Proficient in Revit software for producing contract documents
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Familiarity with National Building Codes and design standards
What you master: (Desired Skills)
- Experience in parking garage layout, design, detailing, and construction
- Minimum of five years of parking garage design experience
- Solid technical background in structural engineering
