We are currently seeking a Design Engineer to join a widely respected and diverse Civil/Facilities Division. With an industry leader, who fosters a people-centric culture, values innovation, and encourages collaboration.
What you would be doing: (Responsibilities)
- Work with a team of professionals in developing highway and roadway design plans, including grading and drainage design, pavement design, utilities, stormwater design, quantities, specs, and contract documents for State DOT and Municipal projects throughout New York and New England.
- This entry-level position will require some fieldwork travel.
Who you are: (Qualifications)
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with E.I.T. required.
- 0 - 3 years of civil infrastructure design or construction administration experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or Microstation/InRoads a plus.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organization and attention to detail.
- Ability to effectively participate as part of a project team.
