A high-impact opportunity is available for an experienced SAP HANA Data Modeler to support enterprise-scale data transformation and modeling efforts. The role focuses on developing and optimizing SAP HANA data views, enabling efficient and scalable access to business data across the organization.
This position requires hands-on experience with SAP HANA Studio, S4/HANA CDS Views, and deep knowledge of enterprise data modeling techniques.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop dimensional and transactional calculated views in SAP HANA

Design scalable and reusable data models to support enterprise-wide analytics

Evaluate source data systems to identify anomalies and opportunities for efficiency

Optimize logical and metadata models for performance and maintainability

Tune long-running queries and procedures for optimal performance

Collaborate with data owners, analysts, and data scientists to understand data relationships and business context
Required Skills & Experience:

Deep understanding of SAP HANA architecture

Proficiency in building calculated views in SAP HANA Studio using BW/4HANA objects

Experience developing CDS Views in S4/HANA environments

Expertise with large data volumes and query performance tuning

Knowledge of relational, dimensional, and cube-based data modeling

Experience with enterprise relational databases and reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, and Jupyter Notebooks

Familiarity with ABAP programming and strong SQL skills

Exposure to business intelligence platforms (e.g., Cognos, Informatica)

Understanding of Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC)

Experience working within Agile or Waterfall SDLC environments

Familiarity with Smart Data Access and Smart Data Integration is a plus

Cloud data integration experience is a plus
Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical field

Professional certifications related to SAP HANA, data modeling, or business intelligence are preferred
