Role Summary
This role is responsible for generating sales and income by maintaining existing customer accounts and developing new business relationships. The position focuses on creating opportunities, preparing bids and quotes, and ensuring customers receive responsive support and service. Success will be measured by the ability to grow accounts, build trusted relationships, and consistently deliver results in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate and develop new customer accounts
- Maintain and grow relationships with existing accounts
- Prepare accurate bids, quotes, and proposals
- Answer customer inquiries and provide timely solutions
- Negotiate pricing and product availability with customers
- Prepare and deliver sales reports (daily, weekly, or monthly)
- Research and assess new product requests from customers
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2–5 years of sales experience, ideally in aftermarket, distribution, or industrial products
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate as a team player
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; comfortable with reporting and CRM tools
- Highly organized with excellent customer service orientation
