TITLE: Technical Sales Representative

JOB DESCRIPTION:
· This role is responsible for generating sales and income within the marine industry by developing new accounts and maintaining relationships with existing OEMs, shipyards, marinas and distributors.
· Success will be measured by the ability to grow market share, strengthen partnerships and consistently deliver results in a competitive and evolving marine sector.
REQUIRED SKILLS:
· Proven Technical/Industrial/Manufacturing environment success in Business to Business (B2B).
· Experience in selling to Industrial/Manufacturing distributor markets.
· Ability to travel to customer sites and industry trade shows as needed.
WHAT IS EXPECTED:
· Develop new accounts across OEMs, shipbuilders, marinas, and distributor networks.
· Maintain and expand relationships with existing customers in the marine industry; travel occasionally, as necessary.
· Answer customer inquiries with timely and solutions-oriented responses.
· Attend marine trade shows and industry events to represent the company and networks.
· Prepare and deliver sales reports (daily, weekly, or monthly).
· Conduct market research and assess new product requests within the marine industry.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
· B2B experience, ideally in marine; maybe OEM/manufacturing or automotive.
· Customer service mindset with strong presentation abilities.
· Willingness to travel domestically and attend industry events.
