Title: Automation Engineer

Location: Detroit Lakes MN (Hybrid/remote after first year)

Job Type: Fulltime / Direct Hire

Schedule: Onsite first year, then hybrid or remote

Overview:

· Program and support advanced conveyor automation systems in a production environment.

What You’ll Own:

· Program Allen Bradley ControlLogix and CompactLogix PLC systems.

· Develop PLC applications using Ladder Logic and Structured Text.

· Program Beckhoff TwinCAT automation systems.

· Develop HMIs and integrate conveyors, robotics, motion controls, sensors, scanners, printers, and industrial devices.

· Design electrical control systems and support startup, commissioning, and troubleshooting.

· Create technical documentation and mentor junior automation engineers.

What You Bring:

· Bachelor’s degree with 5 years automation experience or Associate degree with 10 years.

· PLC programming with Studio 5000 and Beckhoff TwinCAT.

· HMI development, VFDs, motors, electrical controls, and industrial networking.

· Experience designing and supporting automated manufacturing systems.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year

Experience:

• PLC Programming: 5 years (Required)
• Allen-Bradley ControlLogix and Studio 5000: 6 years (Preferred)
• Beckhoff TwinCAT Programming: 8 years (Preferred)

Salary : $100,000 - $110,000
