RN ED Manager ED Manager Shift: Full time, Monday-Friday 8am-4pm (can be variable based on needs of the unit) Experience: 5 years of total RN experience (2 years of ED). 2 years of Manager, Supervisor or Charge experience. BSN is required. Emergency Department Patient Population: All ages, acuities, stages of life and types. Patient Ratios: 1:4 Number of Beds: 29 beds plus hallway beds (11a-11p) Department Specifics: Level II Trauma Center, Primary Stroke Center with LVO capability, Chest Pain Center, Robust EMS Partnership, CT Scanner within the ED, Collaborative relationship with Physicians, Self-scheduling, Certified Emergency Nurse fees paid, Evidence-Based Practices, Trauma Training, Triage Training, Stroke Certification. Job Summary As Nursing Manager, level 2 RN, you shape a positive team environment, ensure high-quality nursing practices, teamwork, and patient safety. You create plans, implement policies, manage resources, oversee finances, and manage quality improvement efforts. Arrange educational programs to meet goals and act as caregiver when needed. Essential Functions of the Role Formulate and communicate a clear vision for nursing practices within your area of responsibility.
