What You Will Be Doing
- Designing, developing, and validating automotive components.
- Ensuring components meet customer requirements, regulatory standards, and manufacturability goals.
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to successfully bring products from concept to production.
- Balancing multiple design projects while iterating quickly based on test results and engineering change requests.
- Helping shape processes and standards in a fast‑growing, evolving environment.
What We Need From You
To be considered for this role, candidates must have the following experience and skills:
- 3 years of automotive product engineering experience from a Tier 1 supplier.
- Proficiency with CAD software (CATIA, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of engineering principles, DFM, and validation/testing methods.
- Knowledge of APQP and PPAP.
- Adaptable, proactive, and hands‑on approach in a fast‑changing environment.
All‑Star Skillset
The ideal candidate will also have any or all of the following preferred experience and skills:
- Bachelor’s degree and/or PMP certification.
- Experience with prototype testing, durability, and environmental validation.
