What are the responsibilities and job description for the Beverage Dispensing Equipment Technician position at Staff Source Inc?
Staff Source is seeking an enthusiastic candidate to fill our client’s Beverage Dispensing Equipment Technician position in Hammond, IN. This is a full time positon, temp-to-hire, with competitive pay starting at $20/hr. This position will be 1st shift Monday-Friday. Once hired on you will receive benefits including health, dental, life, and vision insurance, 401K and 401k matching, and paid time off (PTO).
Responsibilities:
· Perform general maintenance on components of various beverage dispensing machines.
· Maintain a clean and organize workshop and storage facilities.
· Keep accurate records of all repairs and inventory of the items including: soda fountains, Co2 vessels, and ice makers.
· Uphold the highest industry safety protocols.
Qualifications:
· Candidates must be comfortable working with hand tools and mechanical equipment.
· Strong troubleshooting skills especially with electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems.
· Ability to perform tasks such as bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods of time.
· Self-motivated with exemplary time management skills.
· Excels working in a team setting with great communication and relationship building skills.
· High School Diploma/GED (REQUIRED)
· Minimum of 3 years of mechanical troubleshooting (REQUIRED)
· Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation (REQUIRED)
· Drug test (REQUIRED)
