Position Duties:
- The Layout Engineer will be responsible for preparing layouts of automotive machining and assembly lines of various processes.
- Provide AutoCAD updates and changes to process Layouts.
- Perform field checks and document findings; creating equipment/plant layouts to reflect as built conditions.
- Lead weekly meetings to discuss open issues pertaining to the layouts.
- Work with various GM personnel to resolve layout issues and discuss required content.
- Ability to update layout on the fly during engineering meetings.
Skills and Experience Required:
- 3 years AutoCAD experience required.
- 3D CAD experience a plus.
- Manufacturing facility layout experience a plus.
- Microsoft Office
Salary : $30 - $45
