Entry-Level Welder
We’re seeking a motivated and reliable individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Welder/Machinist. LOCATION: Elkridge, MD 21075
POSITION: Contract
PAY RATE: $22.00hr
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident status
Responsibilities:
- Assist in basic welding tasks including MIG and TIG welding under supervision
- Operate and maintain basic machining equipment such as lathes, mills, and grinders
- Read and interpret technical drawings
- Measure and inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and other tools
- Clean and prepare metal surfaces for welding or machining
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
- Support senior welders and machinists with daily tasks and projects
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- Must be US Citizen or Permanent Resident
- Basic welding or machining experience
- Basic math and measurement skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Willingness to learn and take direction
- Strong attention to detail and safety
