Overview
Do you enjoy a fast-paced environment and achieving meaningful results? Our client is seeking to hire a full-time Account Executive to join our growing team! The Account Executive is responsible for developing new client relationships and able to work in a team atmosphere to provide excellent client service. Experience in selling IT managed services and/or technology preferred.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop new accounts through prospecting, networking, and referrals.
- Partner with Technical Department on larger deals to create customized solutions for clients and prospects
- Work with internal and external marketing to develop innovative process and materials for selling
- Work in tandem with leadership and other team members on continuous learning and development
- Perform needs analysis at client sites and work to identify multiple objectives
- Solution sell to those objectives by working through a well-defined and proven sales process
- Staying engaged and communicative with prospects through longer sales cycles when necessary
- Develop and present proposals to clients
- Willingness and drive to take on new challenges and hit targets
- Attend product and service expos to introduce our business
- Source and attend networking events; join agreed upon networking groups/panels
- Assist with training other Account Executives when necessary
- Complete proper pricing templates and calculators and follow department procedures
- Obtain certifications as required by department
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Experience
- 2 years outside sales experience minimum
- Pleasant phone voice and demeanor
- Outgoing and confident personality
- Must have strong organizational and prioritization skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, including but not limited to Outlook and Excel
- Familiarity with Sales CRM software preferred
- Strong client and team interaction focusing on:
- Communication
- Problem Solving
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be collaborative in nature and excel in a team-based environment
- Detail oriented
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced office environment
Education
Associate's degree or equivalent experience in the position requirements.
Transportation
Must have a reliable vehicle, valid driver’s license and valid insurance. Considering this is an outside sales position, a clear driving record within the past 5 years may be required for company insurance coverage.
