- 2nd Shift: 3:30PM - 12:00AM, Monday - Friday AND
- 3rd Shift: 10:30PM - 7AM, Sunday-Thursday
Pay Rate:
- $16.13 / hour
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Worker who will be responsible for operating production equipment, assembling and packaging pet treats, maintaining product quality, and following all food safety and manufacturing procedures in a fast-paced production environment.
Job Responsibilities:
- Operate production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently.
- Assemble, inspect, and package pet treats according to company specifications.
- Weigh and measure ingredients or finished products as required.
- Perform visual quality inspections to ensure products meet quality standards.
- Label, box, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
- Follow all food safety, quality, and workplace safety procedures.
- Report equipment issues or product defects to supervisors.
- Assist with inventory, material handling, and other production tasks as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals.
Job Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus but not always required.
- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Reliable attendance and teamwork.
- Forklift experience is a plus for some departments.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is beneficial but not required.
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing facility producing pet treats.
- Fast-paced environment with standing, walking, bending, and lifting throughout the shift.
- Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
- Exposure to food ingredients, machinery, and warehouse conditions.
