Job Details:
- Position: Welder (Multiple Openings)
- Shift: First Shift (7:00 AM - 3:30 PM)
- Pay Range: $18 to $26 per hour (Pay rate varies based on skills and experience)
- Skill Level: Entry-level to Experienced
- Weld Test: Required
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques, including MIG, TIG, and arc welding, to join metal components according to specifications.
- Conduct weld tests to assess welding skills and determine the appropriate pay rate.
- Ensure the safety of yourself and others by adhering to all safety protocols and guidelines.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition and report any issues promptly to the maintenance team.
- Inspect and assess the quality of welds to meet industry and company standards.
- Work closely with team members to meet production goals and timelines.
- Assist in material preparation by cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces.
- Collaborate with supervisors and colleagues to optimize production processes.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous welding experience is preferred but not required for entry-level positions.
- Knowledge of welding techniques (MIG, TIG, arc welding) is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret basic engineering drawings and welding symbols.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
