Senior Staff Accountant

$80,000 – $85,000 Base Discretionary Bonus

Position Overview: The Senior Staff Accountant will play a key role in supporting the company’s accounting operations, financial reporting, and lease-related accounting activities. This individual will work closely with leadership and cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financials and contribute to process improvements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform general accounting functions, including journal entries, account reconciliations, and month-end close
- Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with GAAP
- Support lease accounting activities, including tracking and reporting of lease-related transactions
- Maintain and reconcile balance sheet accounts and investigate variances
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis
- Contribute to the development and improvement of internal controls and accounting processes
- Support tax filings and compliance requirements (sales tax, property tax, etc.)
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and assist with ad hoc reporting and special projects
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
- 4 years of accounting and/or audit experience
- Strong understanding of GAAP
- Experience with financial statement preparation and account reconciliations
- Proficiency in Excel and strong analytical skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment
Preferred (Not Required):
- Experience with lease accounting or contract-based accounting environments
- Exposure to ERP systems or accounting software
- Background in equipment leasing, finance, or asset-based industries
Salary : $80,000 - $85,000
