Senior Accountant
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with GAAP
- Manage day-to-day accounting activities including accounts payable, bank reconciliations, and vendor records Partner with HR to support payroll processing and related reporting
- Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership and external stakeholders Lead the month-end and year-end close process, including balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulations and support the development of strong internal controls
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and reporting accuracy
- Collaborate with accounting teams across multiple locations to ensure consistent financial reporting
- Support the integration of newly acquired entities and help standardize accounting processes Assist with budgeting and forecasting efforts, providing insights to support business decisions
- Contribute to recurring financial reporting packages and analysis for stakeholders
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required; CPA is a plus
- Public accounting experience preferred, along with
- Exposure to fast-paced or multi-entity environments
- Experience in private equity-backed or acquisition-driven organizations is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills and experience with accounting systems (Sage Intacct is a plus)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities Effective communicator with the ability to work cross-functionally across teams
