Senior Accountant - Fast track to Controller
Great opportunity for a strong Senior Accountant looking for a step up into an Accounting Manager role with a fast track to Controller.
Duties:
- Position will assist with month-end close
- Position will be responsible for Bank & Treasury Activity (Making wire payments, clearing checks, bank reconciliations, etc.)
- Position will be the primary contact for A/P related activities: invoice entry, questions from vendors, etc.)
- Position will oversee A/R Clerk by providing support on heavy cash collection days and directional support when questions arise.
Requirements:
- BA Degree in Accounting or Finance is a MUST
- Five or more years of experience
- Experience working in a high-volume setting (many vendors, many customers)
- Manufacturing Experience required
- QuickBooks a plus but not required
Our client offers a salary of $75k - $85k. Medical, Dental, Vision, 401K Match – 50% match for the first 6%.
Position will grow into Controller role within 1 year
