Purchasing Agent/Strategic Sourcing Agent
Develop and implement part procurement strategies for your assigned commodities. Establish procurement of parts and material in alignment with departmental policies. Develop supplier relationships and performance improvement to ensure supply continuity. Responsible for initiatives to achieve lower total cost including negotiation, planning and execution. New model part sourcing and supplier development. Manage projects in a dynamic manufacturing environment. Ensure compliance with company business policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute annual strategic procurement plan including spend analysis, risk evaluation, capacity verification and performance improvement
- Ensure supplier relationship management including quality, cost and delivery
- Manage supplier selection, RFQ process, negotiation and contracts
- Understand supplier's manufacturing process including on-site visits
- Procure parts to support New Product introductions
- Apply effective sourcing risk assessment methodologies to ensure supplier continuity
Requirements
Bachelor Degree or relevant experience

Working conditions
- Office environment with frequent visits to Manufacturing and Warehouse environment
- Travel required

Pay: From $55,000.00 per year
