What are the responsibilities and job description for the LECTURER — WRITING position at Staff and Faculty?
The Ithaca College Department of Writing invites applications for part-time lecturers for the 2025-2026 academic year. Primarily, we seek candidates with a commitment to inclusive excellence and experience teaching academic writing. We also seek candidates with experience teaching fiction, and/or poetry.
Required Qualifications:
- MFA or Ph.D. in appropriate degree in related field. (ABDs with significant undergraduate teaching experience will be considered.)

Hiring rate: $1,999.27 per credit hour.
