What are the responsibilities and job description for the LECTURER - PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT PROGRAM position at Staff and Faculty?
Position Summary:
The Physician Assistant Studies program is developing an applicant pool for part-time lecturers for potential employment during summer, fall, and spring of the 2025-2026 academic year. It is strongly preferred that lecturers are available to teach courses in person and are needed in a variety of course topics such as: cardiology, endocrinology, gastroenterology, geriatrics, hematology, immunology, infectious disease, nephrology, neurology, oncology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, pharmacology, pulmonology, rheumatology, surgery, urology, and women’s health.
Required Qualifications:
NCAA PA certification with NYS license. If not NCCPA certified, must possess a master's or doctorate in a related field (e.g., NP) or be an MD/DO.
