Key Activities
- Implement RAM strategies
- Ensure compliance with RAM standards and regulations
- Support Engineering (System Engineering, Development) in implementing RAM requirements
- Create and maintain all process-related documents (e.g. RAM report)
- Verification of customer requirements regarding reliability, maintainability, and maintenance efforts (RAM/LCC) within the scope of quotations and projects
- Derivation of requirements for subsystems and assemblies concerning RAM/LCC
- Prepare RAM/LCC documentation for customer projects
- Safety experience is a plus to offer support in:
- Risk assessments and safety analyses (e.g. FMEA, FTA)
- Documentation to demonstrate compliance with Safety requirements (Safety Case)
- Support the Engineering department (System Engineering, Development) in implementing safety requirements
- Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in RAM and safety engineering.
- Experience with safety standards (ISO 26262, IEC 61508, etc.)
- Knowledge of reliability engineering tools and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Experience with the application of railway-related guidelines and standards for functional safety (IEEE 1474, MIL 882, EN 501XX, EN 50716)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and quality-focused, with a commitment to delivering safe, reliable, and high-performance signaling systems.
- Fluent in English, German is a plus
