What are the responsibilities and job description for the Warehouse Associate- PT Sat/Sun 06am-12pm or 12pm-6pm position at Stadler US?
Looking for a weekend warrior team to help with warehouse and yard consolidation, organizing, inventory relocation and audits.
We are hiring both temporary and long-term employees for this position. For individuals who demonstrate strong leadership, reliability, and performance, there is an opportunity for rapid advancement to a Foreman role, which includes increased responsibilities and higher pay.
$20-$23 per hour based on experience.
Forklift experience preferred, but willing to train the right individual.
Duties include
- Move and stage materials throughout warehouse and yard
- Consolidate and organize inventory for efficient storage, use, and flow
- Label and tag materials properly and accurately
- Perform cycle counts and full inventory audits
- Assist with troubleshooting inventory issues
- Monitor yard inventory conditions (weather protection, security, damage)
- Operate forklifts and material-handling equipment safely
- Ensure safe stacking and proper spacing of stored items
- Team oriented, self-motivated, high-energy no drama attitue
- Help with picking, packing, or shipping when needed
- Help maintain clean and organized warehouse areas
- Assist other team members during busy periods
Safety & compliance
- Follow safety protocols and use PPE (Steel toed shoes, etc)
- Report hazards
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail !!! Accuracy is a must in this position.
- Ability to communicate, problem solve, & take action with timely resolution of issues
- Basic computer/data entry skills
- Ability to lift 50lbs on a regular basis
Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
