Responsibilities

• Direct vehicle and pedestrian traffic efficiently using clear signals and signage to ensure safety and smooth flow of parking areas.
• Assist guests with parking procedures, providing friendly guidance and support throughout their arrival and departure.
• Manage cash handling responsibilities, including processing payments accurately and maintaining receipts in accordance with cash handling procedures.
• Perform manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of parking cones, barriers, or signage to set up or pack down parking zones.
• Communicate effectively with team members, guests, and security personnel to coordinate parking operations seamlessly.
• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to safety protocols, especially when directing traffic in busy or congested areas.
• Support other event staff as needed, including assisting with crowd control or providing general customer service.

• Comfortable working outdoors
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions, including rain, snow, heat, cold, and windy weather.

Requirements

• Previous experience in valet parking, retail math, or dealership environments is preferred but not essential; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
• Strong communication skills with the ability to give clear directions and interact positively with diverse guests.
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and physical activity throughout the shift.
• Valid driving experience; a valid driver’s license is required for operating vehicles if necessary.
• Bilingual abilities are a plus to assist a diverse range of guests effectively.
• Basic numeracy skills for cash handling and transaction processing.
• Customer service experience that demonstrates professionalism, patience, and a positive attitude.

Pay: $20.00 per hour
