Our team brings deep K-12 expertise paired with a scalable global delivery model that ensures the right talent is engaged at every phase. We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and technically capable Job Captain to support project execution and produce coordinated, accurate documentation across Northern California.
PRIMARY ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES
Project Delivery and Coordination
- Support project teams from pre-design through construction administration.
- Produce and coordinate construction documents with consistency and accuracy.
- Translate redlines into precise drawings and organized Revit models.
- Maintain project schedules, scope, and deliverables in coordination with project leads.
- Coordinate with consultants under the direction of the Project Architect or Project Manager.
- Review your work and support quality checks for team deliverables.
- Manage tasks across multiple projects with strong communication and organization.
Technical Leadership and Quality
- Maintain well-organized, accurate, and coordinated documents throughout all phases.
- Prepare DSA submittal materials and support the review process.
- Assist with resolving design and technical issues through thoughtful problem-solving.
- Support Revit workflows, project standards, and digital organization.
Client and Stakeholder Engagement
- Participate in client and project meetings as needed.
- Communicate clearly and professionally with clients, consultants, and partners.
- Prepare documentation, diagrams, and materials for meetings and presentations.
Team Collaboration and Mentorship
- Collaborate closely with designers, project architects, and the global team.
- Contribute to internal lessons learned and process improvements.
- Participate in mentorship relationships, both as a learner and as a resource for junior staff.
- Take initiative in professional development and strengthening team workflows.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in architecture preferred
- 3 to 7 years of experience working on K-12 projects
- Experience in preparing construction documents and coordinating with consultants
- Familiarity with DSA processes
- Proficiency in Revit, Acrobat, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office 365
- Strong organization and communication skills
- Positive, solutions-oriented mindset
- Ability to manage deadlines while maintaining quality
- Licensure not required, but strongly supported
