Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble food items efficiently while maintaining quality standards and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Operate POS systems such as Toast POS to process transactions accurately, handle cash and card payments, and manage sales with precision.
• Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, answering questions about menu items, and upselling products to enhance sales.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen equipment in compliance with health regulations.
• Assist with food handling duties including bussing tables, restocking supplies, and ensuring a clean dining environment.
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly without compromising quality or safety standards.
• Support team members in daily operations such as food preparation, cashiering, and inventory management.
• Uphold all food industry standards related to hygiene, sanitation, and safe food handling practices.
• Contribute positively to team efforts by communicating clearly, collaborating seamlessly, and maintaining a friendly attitude.
• Engage in ongoing training on POS systems like Micros POS and Aloha POS to improve efficiency and customer interaction skills.

Experience

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast-food restaurant environments is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Toast POS is advantageous but training will be provided.
• Knowledge of food preparation techniques, food safety protocols, and sanitation standards is highly desirable.
• Experience in cashiering or cash handling roles enhances your ability to manage sales accurately and efficiently.
• Strong time management skills are essential for thriving during peak hours while maintaining high-quality service.
• Background in retail math or grocery store operations can be beneficial for understanding inventory control and basic math calculations necessary for daily tasks.
